{"id":13245,"date":"2021-05-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-02T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tresipunt.com\/success-case-with-pensa-erasmus\/"},"modified":"2022-10-25T12:15:23","modified_gmt":"2022-10-25T10:15:23","slug":"success-case-with-pensa-erasmus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tresipunt.com\/en\/success-case-with-pensa-erasmus\/","title":{"rendered":"Success case with PENSA (Erasmus+)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Introduction<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project for Teacher Professionalization using Digital Technology to support Autonomy and Citizenship (PENSA) addresses two current issues <\/span><b>in higher education and society.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first one is the <\/span><b>need for training and an infrastructure to deliver blended, online and\/or hybrid<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (i.e. in-class teaching simultaneously streamed to online students) teaching during the pandemic<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second issue is the need to <\/span><b>educate youngsters to the implications in the use of social networking websites<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Facebook, Youtube, etc.) at psychological, sociological, economical, and ideological levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PENSA project addresses these issues with an overall approach of openness, both in the direction of <\/span><b>open education<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>open source platforms.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Aims<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main objective is to <\/span><b>provide Open Source training and tools to all teachers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Those teachers will be trained to integrate blended and hybrid teaching in their classes, with the integration of telecollaboration and virtual exchange on topics related to digital citizenship.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through these actions, PENSA will involve 400 students across Europe in developing their digital competence, multilingual competence, collaborative skills, and learner autonomy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to this main objective, four more objectives were added:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A literature review on teacher training for the integration of ICT and for education to digital citizenship.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An open course for teacher training for the pedagogic activities described above.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two sets of open educational resources to implement virtual exchange adopting either the pedagogy of inquiry or collaborative creative writing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open source functionalities for open source platforms for teaching and training, such as Moodle, BigBlueButton and Mahara; to make those platforms more interoperable and to adapt them to hybrid teaching.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How is 3ipunt involved in the project?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3ipunt will lead the <\/span>technological part of the project<b>, designing and creating an educational platform <\/b>that can facilitate all teaching-learning<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> actions from a collaborative perspective and promoting an ecosystem of open source educational applications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/tresipunt.com\/en\/moodle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3ipunt<\/a>, teachers who lead the project will be <\/span><b>oriented and prepared<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the required tools to promote the use of ICT in innovative collaborative learning environments that help create digital citizenship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to a multidisciplinary team, based on a <\/span><b>wide experience in the creation of online educational environments <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the ICT field, and with the seal of <\/span><b>Moodle<\/b> <b>Premium Partners<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, unique for leading companies in the field of Moodle, 3ipunt will collaborate in this ambitious European educational project co-building knowledge to promote an online education <\/span><b>adapted to the needs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of a society in continuous evolution and that requires innovative, agile and democratic models.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For more information
