Since 2010, SOSvirtual, the digital learning initiative of SOS Children\u2019s Villages International, has been promoting the <strong>development of workers&#8217; skills<\/strong>, strengthening their knowledge and abilities to ensure quality services in all of the organization&#8217;s programs. <\/p>\n\n<p>With its global expansion since 2021, SOSvirtual faces an enormous challenge: <strong>offering a consistent, multilingual, and scalable learning experience for more than 25,000 professionals<\/strong> spread across six regions and 134 countries. To achieve this, they needed a robust, flexible, and economically sustainable platform. And that&#8217;s where 3ipunt came in.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_challenge_global_growth_without_increasing_costs_or_complexity\"><\/span><strong>The challenge: global growth without increasing costs or complexity<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>Before the project, SOSvirtual used an LMS solution that worked well in the Latin American context but <strong>could not keep pace with its international expansion<\/strong>. The main challenges were clear: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Limited scalability<\/strong>: the platform served around 5,000 people, which was insufficient for the global audience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expensive licensing model:<\/strong> the increase in cost per active user made it impossible to grow without compromising the budget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Poor integration with internal systems<\/strong>: this made management, authentication, and reporting difficult.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Need for true multilingualism<\/strong>: 15 languages, multiple countries, and great cultural diversity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Added to this was a key requirement: <strong>the transition to the new LMS could not interrupt services<\/strong>.
