Sitges is cinema. Its light, its streets, the beaches embracing the Mediterranean Sea, and the hidden corners that hold stories have been the backdrop for shoots and festivals that have reached worldwide audiences. But there was still a key element missing to connect all this potential with industry professionals: a dedicated digital portal acting as a window, a loudspeaker, and a meeting point between Sitges and the audiovisual industry.
This gap became the driving force behind a project that is now a reality: the new corporate website of the Sitges Film Office, developed by 3ipunt. A success story that demonstrates how technology, creativity, and collaboration can turn a need into a key tool for audiovisual promotion.

From a digital void to a living platform
Until now, all information about the Sitges Film Office was hosted within the Town Council’s website. This meant its activity was diluted and lacked the space it deserved.
“The Sitges Film Office didn’t have a website, so the challenge was to create one from scratch,” explains Liliana Tudor, Economic Promotion Officer at Sitges Film Office.
The starting point, therefore, was a blank canvas. The task was to define the Film Office’s digital identity and provide it with its own space where all essential information could be centralized: filming locations, administrative requirements, news, festivals, catalogues, and best practices for audiovisual sustainability.
Clear goals for an audiovisual destination
The main objective went far beyond simply having an online presence. The aim was to build a true working tool:
- Showcasing Sitges locations in an attractive and easy-to-browse way.
- Providing all the necessary information to film in Sitges in a quick and organized manner.
- Including sections dedicated to sustainability in filming, a value that is increasingly relevant in today’s audiovisual industry.
- Turning the portal into a living space to find news, festivals, and sector updates related to Sitges.
“Attracting film shoots and promoting audiovisual production are, essentially, our leitmotif. Sitges deserves to be part of many projects, because we have magical corners and locations, perfect to host all kinds of shoots,” says Liliana.

Agile, close, and flexible collaboration
Despite the complexity of the project—creating a portal from scratch while ensuring it was intuitive, useful, and visually appealing—collaboration flowed smoothly from the very beginning.
“The collaboration was very easy and agile. 3ipunt understood what we needed and supported us throughout the entire process. They listened to us and knew how to turn our ideas into concrete, practical solutions,” explains Liliana.
One of the main challenges was making sure the website was easy to use for producers while also being useful for the Film Office’s internal management. The result is an intuitive, highly visual digital portal that combines aesthetics and functionality, making the team’s work easier while enhancing the user experience.
Results and initial impact
Since its launch, the new website has already started to deliver results. The visibility of the Sitges Film Office has increased, with early data showing more traffic and a rise in emails and inquiries from production companies interested in filming in Sitges.
Although it is still too early to have consolidated metrics, the feedback so far has been very positive. Users value the clear organization of the information, while collaborators highlight that the website conveys a professional, modern, and competitive image within the audiovisual sector.

An open window to the world of cinema
The new digital portal of the Sitges Film Office is much more than a website: it is an open window to the world, projecting Sitges as an international audiovisual destination. It strengthens its image as a pioneering town, with a cultural and creative ecosystem that continues to grow and consolidate.
With the support of 3ipunt, Sitges has taken a step forward in its audiovisual promotion strategy. Now, its locations, its magic, and its essence have their own digital space—worthy of its cinematic legacy.
