El Café de 3ipunt: talking about XatKit, the open-source platform to develop chatbots

We talked about the open-source platform for the creation of chatbots

On Thursday January 27th, the second Café by 3ipunt took place. On this occasion, Jordi Cabot (founder of XatKit) and Pau Plana (CEO of 3ipunt) talked about the chatbots world, how to install it on your website and finally, what XatKit is and how it works by showing a demo

Below we have recapped some of the topics discussed during the session.

Jordi Cabot began by defining what a chatbot is in a very simple way: it is a bot/assistant that communicates with users through text messages.

And now you’re wondering, what is it for? The chatbot allows the user to interact with your website in a much more natural way and significantly enhances the user experience.

Now that we have explained what a chatbot is and what it is used for, Jordi answered the following questions: Do they always understand what customers ask? What happens when they don’t? If a customer doesn’t want to talk to a chatbot, is there a chance of losing him? He also told us how to develop a chatbot and how you can install it on your website.

You will find all the answers in the webinar recording!
